Assemblies of God Central Region A, has held its 10th Regional Council meeting at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, Kormantse.
It was on the theme, “Pray without Ceasing for Supernatural Manifestation” based on 1 Thessalonians 5:17-19.
Ordination
At the meeting, 22 Pastors were ordained while 17 pastors were promoted to the rank of Licentiate with 10 Pastors also promoted to the rank of Exhorter.
Regional Council Meetings of the Assemblies of God, Ghana are meant to discuss and address issues related to the church, including ministerial matters, qualifications of church workers, and the church's mission.
During such meetings, Pastors and delegates may be ordained or elevated to new ministerial ranks.
Additionally , the General Superintendent or other leaders may present reports on the church's achievements and initiatives.
The church may develop plans to improve worship environments, expand its presence, or advance its mission.
Sermon
In a sermon, the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God,Ghana, Reverend Stephen Yenusom Wengam, stressed the need for members of the church to pray fervently for supernatural breakthroughs.
At the event, Rev Nana Boateng Addo from Light House Associates of God, in Toronto,Canada donated a motor bike for Mission work.
The Host was the Central Region A Regional Superintendent Reverend Bismark Francis Moore.
