The Electoral Commission (EC) has provided an update to the 2024 presidential election results based on data from 275 out of 276 constituencies.
The EC confirmed that the outcome remains unchanged, with John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) declared the winner. Mr Mahama, who was inaugurated as President on December 7, secured 6,591,790 votes, representing 56.42 percent of valid votes cast.

His closest competitor, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), received 4,877,611 votes, accounting for 41.75 percent. Independent candidate Nana Kwame Bediako garnered 88,944 votes (0.76 percent), followed by Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, another independent candidate, with 32,457 votes (0.28 percent). Other candidates trailed with less than 0.20 percent each.
The total valid votes cast stood at 11,683,483, with 247,937 rejected ballots. Voter turnout for the 275 constituencies was recorded at 63.97 percent, with 18,652,926 registered voters. One constituency, Ablekuma North, remains outstanding, representing 121,269 registered voters.
