Assemblies of God, Ghana, has organised its National Children’s Ministry Prayer Conference at designated venues across the country.
The event, themed "Pray Without Ceasing for Supernatural Manifestation," brought together children, teachers, and church leaders in a time of worship, thanksgiving, repentance, and supplication for the year ahead in all the regions.
Greater Accra
In the Greater Accra East Region, the conference was held at the Fountain of Glory Assemblies of God on the Spintex Road. Over 600 children from 13 districts and 45 local churches participated in the event, led by Pastor Carl Essel-Baisie.
The three-hour prayer session created an atmosphere filled with God's presence and power. The Regional Director of Children’s Ministries, Pastor Sazanna Atisu, expressed her joy at the turnout and thanked the National Director for organising such a meaningful event. Children shared their experiences, expressing how prayer filled them with strength despite the challenges faced during the session.
Takoradi
In the Southwestern Region, the conference took place at the Grace Pentecostal Assemblies of God in Effia-Kuma, Takoradi. The event featured a time of fasting, worship, prayer, and even a Holy Ghost baptism session.
The District Representative for the region, Rev. Gabriel Tsey, led the prayer sessions, emphasising the importance of the conference's theme.
He commended the children for their fervent participation in the conference.
One of the children shared her excitement about the programme, noting how she learned valuable lessons and was eager to share her new found insights with friends and family.
The National Director of the Assemblies of God Children’s Ministry, Rev. Mrs. Comfort Wilson-Marfo, expressed confidence that these collective prayers would lead to supernatural manifestations and blessings in 2025. The success of the conference in the regions stands as a powerful reminder of the importance of prayer and the impact it can have on the spiritual growth of children.

The National Children’s Prayer Conference, aimed to provide children across the country with a unique opportunity to deepen their faith, grow spiritually, and strengthen their connection with God. In addition to prayers for the church and children's ministry, participants also prayed for the leadership of Ghana, for wisdom and divine guidance in managing the affairs of the country.
