The Executive Committee (EC) officers and members of Greater Accra East Region of Assemblies of God, Ghana, have paid a courtesy call on the Tema Regional Police Commander, DCOP Barnabas Nasumong.
The purpose was to commend the Regional Police Commander and his team for effective policing in the metropolis, share security concerns, and strengthen the relationship between the church and the Ghana Police Service.
Transformation agenda
The Greater Accra Regional Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Rev. Andrews Nelson Awintia, shared the "SEND AGENDA" by the Region to promote its spiritual development and membership growth , as well as the TRANSFORMATION AGENDA being championed at the national level by the General Superintendent, Rev. Stephen Wengam.
DCOP Nasumong revealed that his father was one of the founding fathers who received Assemblies of God in Bunkpurugu in the North East Region. He expressed his appreciation for the church's sound Biblical teachings and doctrine which have shaped his life.
DCOP Nasumong noted that this was the first time in his 35-year police career that he had witnessed church leadership paying a courtesy call on the Police Service in Tema.
Assurance
He assured the delegation of continuous effective policing in Tema and surrounding areas.
The EC prayed with DCOP Nasumong and his team for God's guidance and protection.
