Rev. Wengam’s third Apostolic Visits to Volta South,South Western Regions

The General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev. Stephen Wengam, and the National President of the Ministers Wives Association, Lady Mrs. Monica Wengam, have toured two regions, spreading the gospel and strengthening the church. This forms part of their third apostolic visits to the Volta South and South Western Region which were marked by powerful prayer sessions, gift presentations, and words of encouragement.

 

Volta South Region visit

 

On Thursday, May 29, 2025, Rev. Wengam and his wife visited the Volta South Region, and held a meeting at End Time Assemblies of God in Ho. The event brought together pastors and their spouses, retired ministers and their spouses, and widows of deceased pastors.

 

Exhortation

 

In his exhortation, Rev. Wengam emphasised the importance of making local churches a haven for constant prayer activities, citing Matthew 21:12-14 to buttress his point. The Regional Superintendent, Rev. Dr. Stephen Sakyi, expressed gratitude to the first couple of the church for their visionary leadership and the impact of the apostolic visit on the region.

 

South Western Region Visit

 

Earlier, on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, Rev. Wengam and his wife visited the South Western Region. As part of the visit, a meeting was held at Word of Life Assembly of God in Anaji. The event was attended by pastors and their spouses, widows of deceased clergy men, and retired ministers and their spouses. Highlights of the visit included:

 

Rev. Wengam urged pastors to prioritise prayer and make it a core culture of the church. The Regional Superintendent, Rev. Dr. Noble Brister, praised the first couple of the church for their visionary and sacrificial leadership style.

 

Highlights of the two visits included:

 

A total of seven hours of prayer sessions led by Rev. Wengam. Presentation of cash gifts and cloth by Lady Mrs. Monica Wengam to Retirees and their spouses,widows of deceased pastors,wives of pastors and lady pastors were among other activities held by the General Superintendent and his wife.

 

Special intercessory prayers were held for pastors in distress, local church projects, and church building initiatives. Renewal of marriage vows by married couples also featured in the activities of the first couple of the church.

 

Apostolic visits

 

These apostolic visits demonstrate the commitment of the Assemblies of God, Ghana, to strengthening its members and spreading the gospel. Rev. Wengam's leadership and vision continue to inspire and uplift the church, and his visits have brought new life and revival to the regions.
