The Cedar Mountain Chapel of Assemblies of God in East Legon has held a colourful celebration to mark Cedar International Day.
The annual event, held on Sunday, May 25, 2025 coincided with the African Union Day.
The special occasion has become a signature celebration of the church, reflecting its commitment to global unity, multicultural fellowship, and kingdom diversity.
Celebration
The celebration attracted nationals from various countries residing in Ghana. Dressed in rich traditional attire, attendees waved national flags and celebrated the beauty of diversity through music, prayer, and fellowship.
Delivering an inspiring sermon on the theme “Understanding Intimacy with the Holy Spirit,” the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God,Ghana, Rev. Stephen Wengam and Lead Pastor of the Cedar Mountain Chapel, urged believers to move beyond rituals and cultivate a deeper, personal relationship with the Holy Spirit.

Prayers were fervently lifted for peace across nations, the welfare of foreigners living in Ghana and global unity.
