The Eastern Region B Women’s Ministries has hosted a regional rally at Nsawam Central Assemblies of God. The rally brought together women for a time of worship, fellowship, and spiritual empowerment.
Inspiring message
The highlight of the event was the inspiring message delivered by the Regional Superintendent, Reverend Obed Asiedu, who served as the speaker for the occasion.
Speaking on the theme “For Zion’s Sake, I Will Not Rest” rooted in Isaiah 62:1, the Regional Superintendent encouraged the women to remain steadfast in their faith, committed to the work of God, and dedicated to advancing His kingdom.
He also led the women in an intensive two-hour prayer session, igniting a spirit of revival and intercession among the participants.
The Regional Superintendent further tasked the women to carry the fire they had ignited at the rally to their various local churches. He encouraged them to be ablaze for Jesus in this “Year of Prayer”, reminding them that their commitment to prayer and spiritual fervency would bring supernatural manifestations.
Spiritual resilience
The President of the Ministers’ Wives Association, Princess Gloria Asiedu, was also among the speakers. She challenged the women to be prayerful and strong in the Lord, emphasising the importance of spiritual resilience in their personal lives and ministry.
On her part, the Regional Director of the Women’s Ministries, Mrs. Grace Ofori Yeboah, praised the women for responding to the call despite their busy schedules. She commended their dedication and sacrifice, encouraging them to continue being vessels of honour in God’s work.
The rally was a significant moment of renewal and motivation, strengthening the women’s resolve to continue their ministry with passion and purpose.
