The much-anticipated Marriage Conference 2025, organised by the Assemblies of God, Ghana – Nungua District Men and Women Ministries, has been held at the Living Praise Assemblies of God, Lashibi – Vivian Farms.
The event brought together couples, church leaders, and individuals eager to build stronger, Christ-centred marriages and families.
Under the theme “Strengthening Marriages and Family in Christ in Our Current Dispensation,” the conference featured seasoned speakers such as Dr. Isaac Karikari, Mrs. Sophia Afenyo, Gertrude Fafa Atsrim, and Rev. Samuel Yuiah who each delivered presentations on crucial aspects of marital and family life.
Topics discussed included, navigating challenges in relationships; Emotional intimacy; Effective communication within marriages; Parenting and family dynamics; Conflict resolution and handling divorce from a biblical perspective.
Participants
Participants were deeply engaged and inspired. During the interactive sessions, attendees shared their personal experiences, asked questions, and received practical guidance.
Mrs Safia Ayivor, a participant, said, “The session on emotional intimacy opened my eyes to things I had overlooked in my marriage. I'm going home with a new mindset.”
Mr Eric Yeboah , shared: “We came to be refreshed, and we surely were. The discussions were real, relatable, and rooted in scripture.”
A soon-to-be couple noted that “This conference was timely and it will help us in Marraige.”

The conference ended with a time of prayer and rededication, as couples held hands and committed to loving each other more intentionally under God’s guidance.
The Lead Pastor of Faith Assemblies of God, Rev. Nii Otu Adjeteye led the participants into a session of prayer noting that only God can save Marriages.
For many, Marriage Conference 2025 was more than just a programme it was a turning point. Organisers have hinted at follow-up sessions and more interactive forums to keep the conversation going and support families throughout the year.
