Rev. Charles Appiah - Boachie celebrates 70th birthday with Thanksgiving

Rev. Charles Appiah - Boachie marked his 70th birthday with a joyous celebration at God Reigns Residence near the Pokuase Interchange on Saturday.

 

The occasion was filled with gratitude, reflections, and prayers as family members, friends, pastors, ministers, reverends and guests, clad in elegant white attire, gathered to honour his life and ministry.

 

Goodwill messages

 

The event featured heartfelt goodwill messages from loved ones, with Rev. Stephen Yenusom Wengam sharing his personal experiences with Rev. Appiah - Boachie and testifying to God’s faithfulness over his life and family.

 

The atmosphere was filled with joy as the celebrant and his well-wishers cut a beautifully decorated cake to commemorate the milestone. As part of the celebration, special prayers were offered for Rev. Appiah- Boachie and his family, asking for continued blessings, good health, and strength in his journey ahead.

 

Biography

 

Rev Charles Appiah - Boachie has served the Assemblies of God Ghana from local Church to General Secretary. He has Pastored for over 40 years and was the former General Secretary of Assemblies of God, Ghana.

 

He is married to Mrs Irene Comfort Boachie with five children and 13 grandchildren.

 

Until Rev Charles Appiah - Boachie's retirement on  27th February 2021, he was the Senior Pastor of Evangel Assemblies of God located at Adabraka, Off Kojo Thompson road.

 

He pastored the Evangel church for 15years after he left Calvary Temple Assemblies of God in Bantama-Kumasi. He pastored Calvary Temple for 25years before leaving to Accra. His decision to pastor the Evangel Assemblies of God has been described by many as “a great sacrifice.”

 

The 70th birthday celebration was a moment of thanksgiving, reflection, and renewed commitment to faith, celebrating a man whose life has been dedicated to spiritual leadership and service.
