The Senders Camp 2025 has started in earnest across the country. Organised by the Home Missions Department of Assemblies of God, Ghana, it is designed to prepare participants to spread the gospel and reach out to new audiences.
The camp typically targets pastors, regional and district departmental directors, church planters, and Bible school attendees among others.
It is under the theme “Pray without Ceasing” for Supernatural Manifestations based on I Thessalonians 5:17-19.
The camp has been divided into three belts-the Coastal, middle and Northern belts.
Participants
Participants for the Coastal belts are meeting at the University of Cape Coast between April 21st and 24th. The Coastal belt is made up of Greater Accra West, and East,Eastern Regions A,B and C. The rest are Volta North and South,Central Regions A and B, mid-Eastern Region, Western North and South West Region.
In the middle belt, participants are expected to meet at the Republic Hall of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology between April 28th and May 2nd. The middle belt comprises Bono Region A ,Bono Ahafo B and C, Ashanti West, East and North.
In the Northern Belt, the meeting will take place at the C.K. Tedam University of Technical and Applied Sciences at Navrongo in the Upper East Region between April 28th and May 1st
The Northern Belt is made up of North East Region, Northern Region B, North West, Upper West Region and Upper East Regions A and B.
Speakers
The General Superintendent of Assemblies of God,Ghana, Rev Stephen Wengam and the Assistant General Superintendent of Assemblies of God,Ghana, Rev Dr Godwin Tito-Agyei are expected to grace the events.
Others include the Former Vice Chancellor of University of Cape Coast, Reverend Prof Joseph Ghartey Ampiah the Ashanti North Regional Missions Director, Reverend Kweku Okyere Danquah and a Lecturer at the Assemblies of God, Ghana, Northern Bible College, Reverend Isaac Lankariba.
The Home Missions Director of Assemblies of God,Ghana, Reverend Maxwell Kwesi Incoom and the Chairman of the Planning Committee, Reverend Samuel Botchway both called on local churches to sponsor their congregations to take advantage of the event.
