The National Missions Director of Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev. Maxwell Kwesi Incoom, has urged individuals, donors, and philanthropists to support orphans and vulnerable children.
He made the appeal during his birthday celebration on Saturday February 1, 2025, at Royal Seed Orphanage in Kasoa-Ofaakor, in the Central Region where he spent time with the children to inspire hope and demonstrate God’s love to them.
True religion
Making references to James 1:27, Rev. Incoom emphasised that true religion is reflected in compassionate giving describing such acts as “Kindness evangelism.”
To mark the occasion, he donated essential items including drinks, biscuits, clothes, shoes, bags, and other child-friendly necessities. The celebration was filled with joy, featuring cake cutting and a toast, symbolising gratitude for life and God's faithfulness.
Salvation
Beyond the donations, Rev. Incoom shared a message of salvation, encouraging the children to accept Jesus Christ as their Saviour and trust Him to shape their future. He reminded them that despite their circumstances, they are loved and valued by God.
His visit left a lasting impact on the children, reinforcing the message that they are not forgotten and inspiring others to extend a helping hand.
