Worshippers Lifestyle, a Christian Organisation, in collaboration with the Madina Central Assemblies of God Church has set in motion the second edition of an initiative aimed at uniting Christians across the nation in prayer and in expressing gratitude to God.
Dubbed “Awake Ghana 2024”, it emphasises the importance of seeking God’s mercy and involvement in the spiritual, economic, and social lives of Ghanaians.
Drawing inspiration from 1 Timothy 2:1-4, the church's congregation and other participants have been encouraged to engage in prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving for people, including leaders and duty-bearers, to foster a peaceful and Godly society.
The Founder of the Organisation, Reverend Eric Baah told AGTV News that the initiative was designed to bring together people to offer intercessory prayers for the nation as the December 7 election approaches.
He explained that the programme is structured around three key pillars, time for thanksgiving, time for intercession and time for petitioning.
He said the first pillar will ensure that participants express their gratitude to God for the nation, their families, jobs and businesses.
Reverend Baah said the second pillar is to encourage people to offer prayers for peaceful election, government sectors, and the private sector while the third pillar is to urge participants to pray specifically for their businesses, jobs, and families, seeking divine intervention in their personal and professional lives.

The event attracted a significant number of people including families, workers, and the business community. Awake Ghana 2024 serves as a powerful reminder of the collective strength found in faith and community prayer.
