President John Dramani Mahama will commence his nationwide "Thank You Tour" in the Volta Region on Friday.
This significant tour seeks to express the President's heartfelt gratitude to the people of Ghana for the overwhelming trust and support demonstrated during the 2024 elections.
Grand Durbar
According to a press statement signed by Presidential Spokesperson, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the President's visit will feature a grand durbar of chiefs, queen mothers, opinion leaders, religious leaders, members of labour unions, and key representatives from the informal sector.
The durbar will serve as a platform to celebrate the people’s contributions to the nation while strengthening the bond between the President and citizens.
Historic
President Mahama has already set a remarkable tone for his administration by announcing a full cabinet within two weeks of assuming office—an unprecedented move in Ghana’s political history. This demonstrates his unwavering commitment to fulfilling campaign promises and addressing the pressing challenges facing the nation.
