Grace Overflow Chapel Assemblies of God at Nalerigu in the North East Region and departments at Cedar Mountain Chapel, Assemblies of God in East Legon have used the festive season to provide both the physical and spiritual needs of the needy in the society.
They presented essential items to support the less-fortunate and also shared the Word of God as well as prayed for them on separate occasions.
Nalerigu
At Nalerigu, the Head Pastor of the Church, Reverend Christian Y. Laarmong who is also the Business Development Manager for AGTV led a cross section of his members to celebrate Christmas with the Children's Wards at the Nalerigu Baptist Medical Centre( BMC).
The occasion was used to share the love of Christ, preach to patients and their relatives as well as staff on duty at the Hospital.
Reverend Laarmong led the team to pray for the patients, presented hampers to patients and their respective relatives as well as nurses and doctors on duty.
Cedar Mountain Departments
Departments in Cedar Mountain Chapel of Assemblies of God, East Legon on their part put smiles on the faces of juveniles at the Senior Correctional Centre, of the Ghana Prisons Service in Accra this Christmas.
The Cedar Word Institute (Adult Sunday School Department), in partnership with Let the Fire Fall and the Youth Ministry shared the love of Christ and fellowship with the inmates at the Centre.
The team donated essential items, including food, toiletries, and stationery, to support the Centre.
