The Greater Accra East Youth Ministry of the Assemblies of God,Ghana has hosted its third edition Annual Thanksgiving event at the Tema Central Assemblies of God.
Dubbed “Shidaa", the event brought together over 2,000 youth from various Assemblies of God branches within the Greater Accra East Region creating an atmosphere of excitement, praise, and worship.
Speaking to AGTV News, the Regional Youth Director, Rev. Atsu Gakpetor, explained that this year’s Shidaa event aligns with the theme “Pray Without Ceasing”. He noted that the event aims to unite the youth through music and prayer, helping them deepen their connection with God.
Memorable experience
A Gospel Artist, Efe Grace, spiced up the programme with her powerful songs that electrified the atmosphere while patrons also sang and danced along passionately creating a memorable experience for all.
Some participants shared their thoughts with AGTV News, describing the event as an extraordinary time in God’s presence. One attendee remarked, “This has been a beautiful time of worship and connection.”
Shidaa 2025 successfully brought the youth together to celebrate God’s faithfulness, foster fellowship, and reignite their passion for His Love.
