The Nsawam Central Assemblies of God in the Eastern Region has held a grand appreciation ceremony to honour key individuals and groups whose dedication and service have significantly contributed to the church’s growth and success
The event began with the recognition of outgoing Church Board members who have successfully completed their two-year tenure under the current Head Pastor, Reverend Obed A. Asiedu.
These members were presented with cash awards and citations, celebrating their commitment, wisdom, and impactful leadership during a crucial phase of the church’s development.
Choir
The Head Pastor, who also doubles as the Eastern Region B Superintendent, took the opportunity to commend the church choir for their loyalty, consistency, and dedication to enhancing the worship experience.
He described their commitment to excellence as a vital part of the church’s spiritual growth and unity.
Reverend Asiedu equally acknowledged departmental leaders for their tireless efforts and effective leadership in their respective ministries, which have greatly contributed to the smooth running of church activities.
Intercessory prayers
He commended members who have dedicated themselves to intercessory prayers for the pastor and the church. The Head Pastor emphasised that the church's growth and spiritual breakthroughs are largely due to the fervent prayers and spiritual dedication of these individuals. He encouraged them to continue their good work and inspire others to do same.
Reverend Asiedu reminded his congregation that 2025 has been declared a year of prayer by Assemblies of God, Ghana therefore they should commit themselves to a lifestyle of prayer, emphasising its importance as the foundation for personal, family, and church-wide breakthroughs.
He described the year as a pivotal moment for spiritual revival and encouraged members to actively participate in prayer activities throughout the year.

The ceremony concluded with a powerful session of prayer and thanksgiving, marking the day as one of celebration, gratitude, and renewed commitment to God’s work. The congregation left inspired to embrace prayer as a key driver for continued growth and impact in 2025.
