The Assemblies of God, Eastern Region ‘A’, has presented four new motorcycles to pastors serving in hard-to-reach communities, in a move aimed at improving ministry outreach in rural areas.
The presentation, held on Tuesday 12 August 2025 at the regional office in Koforidua, was led by the Regional Superintendent, Rev Dr Albert Anane, and the Executive Committee. The recipients were Rev Moses Laryeh Narh (Asesewa District), Rev Joyce Nsor (Akosombo District), Rev Emmanuel Agyapong (Adawso District) and Rev Dominic Foah (Anum District).
Remote communities
According to the church, the motorcycles will be assigned to pastors in remote congregations within these districts to address transport challenges and enhance pastoral work. The donation is the third since Rev Dr Anane assumed office in 2022.
In addition, the region donated GH₵10,000 to the Oyoko District towards completing payment for land for Love Chapel Assemblies of God, and a further GH₵10,000 to the Adawso District for land acquisition for Otwitiri Assemblies of God.
Speaking at the event, Rev Dr Anane said the initiative reflected the church’s “unwavering commitment” to supporting rural pastors and congregations.
Appreciation
Rev Nsor, speaking on behalf of the recipients, expressed gratitude, saying the support would make a “significant difference” to their work.
The motorcycles, registered under Assemblies of God Eastern Region ‘A’, were dedicated in prayer before being handed over. Church leaders say the initiative was made possible through the collective support of pastors and members across the region.
They believe the move will strengthen the church’s capacity to reach more remote communities and enhance ministry effectiveness.
