The Women’s Ministries Department of Assemblies of God, Ghana, has held a National Leadership Conference in Koforidua. The event brought together women leaders from Eastern Region A, B, and C for a time of empowerment, prayer, and strategic leadership training.
Intense prayer
The programme commenced with an intense one-and-a-half-hour prayer session, seeking divine guidance and spiritual renewal before the teachings began.
In attendance were Rev Mrs. Gladys Abu Baba, the National Women’s Ministries Director, the National Joy Fellowship Organiser, the three Regional Women’s Ministries Directors, and leaders from all local church Women’s Ministries Departments within the participating regions. The Eastern Region C Superintendent, Rev Joseph Baidoo, was also there to grace the occasion.
Topics
The conference covered three key topics, Visionary Leadership – Emphasising the importance of direction, planning, and strategic growth in women’s ministry; You and Women’s Ministries – Highlighting the role and responsibilities of women leaders in advancing the work of God and Prayer – Strengthening the foundation of ministry through consistent and fervent intercession.
Participants described the conference as a timely and impactful initiative that has equipped them with deeper spiritual insight and leadership skills. Many expressed their commitment to implementing the lessons learned to enhance their local church ministries.
