The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially announced that Friday, March 7, 2025, will be a holiday for all schoolchildren in Ghana.
In a press release issued on March 6, 2025, GES explained that the holiday aims to provide students with a well-deserved break following their rigorous preparations for Ghana’s Independence Anniversary celebrations.
Schools are expected to resume fully on Monday, March 10, 2025. Parents and guardians have been urged to take note of this development.
GES expressed regret for any inconvenience the holiday may cause.
The statement was signed by Cassandra Twum Ampofo, Head of the Public Relations Unit at the GES.
