A steady stream of dignitaries from Ghana and abroad continues to converge on the Cedar Mountain Chapel in East Legon, Accra, to console Reverend Stephen Yenusom Wengam, General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, over the passing of his mother, Madam Deborah Wengam.
A delegation from the Italy Assemblies of God (Ghanaian Fellowship), was among the visitors, led by its Vice President, Reverend and Mrs Noble Asante.
The delegation conveyed the condolence of the Italy Assemblies of God(Ghanaian Fellowship) President, Reverend Mumuni Boakye and the entire fellowship to the bereaved family and signed a book of condolence.
They also seized the opportunity to tour facilities at the Cedar Mountain Chapel of Assemblies of God,Ghana.
Additionally, some members of the Women Ministries of Accra East Assemblies of God, under the leadership of its Regional Director, Reverend Mrs Georgina Abotsi, also paid a heartfelt visit to express their condolences.
Similarly, Reverend and Mrs David Okai of the Victory Valley Assemblies of God, Kumasi, paid a visit to commiserate with Reverend Wengam.
Prayers, encouragement
They offered prayers of comfort and encouragement to Reverend Wengam and his family during this difficult period. Their visit reflected the strong bonds of solidarity and spiritual support that characterise the global Assemblies of God fraternity.
The continuous flow of visits from both local and international Assemblies of God members highlights the unity and unwavering support within the church, as members rally around their leader in this time of mourning.
The late Madam Deborah Wengam has been fondly remembered for her impactful life, and her legacy continues to inspire the Assemblies of God fraternity worldwide.
